COVERED YARDS AND SILAGE CLAMP COVERS

The need to separate clean and dirty water has prompted many farmers to build permanent covers over their collecting yards, holding pens and silage clamps. These covers need to be correctly sized to allow machinery to operate without hindrance from steel uprights or low purlins. Rain water harvesting can also be improved by diverting water into tanks for use during washing down and for adding into drinking water tanks for livestock.
